Class Information
Saturdays 10am-1pm
In these sessions, students continue developing their technique, performance skills, and creative expression, while taking on more challenging routines and scripts. We encourage them to refine their skills, build confidence in performing for an audience, and work collaboratively to bring their creativity to life.
Each summer, students also have the exciting opportunity to showcase their development in a show at a local venue, providing a professional platform to celebrate their hard work and achievements.
LAMDA Exams
All pupils have the option to take LAMDA exams. They are nationally recognised qualifications awarded by the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art. These exams help children develop skills in communication, memorisation, interpretation, and stage presence, and are a great way to build confidence in both performance and public speaking.
The 8-10s will usually take either Stages exams or Introductory level exams and then progress onto Grades. This will be dependent on age.
We currently offer three LAMDA syllabuses:
Acting
Acting (Duologues)
Verse and Prose
Public Speaking
Children can choose to take Solo exams, where they perform on their own, or Duologue exams, where they work with a partner (Duologue is only available for Acting). Exams typically take place every two terms, depending on the student’s age and grade.
